What is this Event?
The 2021 Welcome Event is about connecting the students and employees of nearby colleges and universities to the vibrant life of the City and introducing long-time area residents to the people and work of educational institutions around the City.
The Event will feature live music, performances, and food from local restaurants. Event planners have included local craft beer vendors and wineries as part of the Greensburg Craft Beer Week which is held the same week. Representatives from the City’s institutions and community-based organizations will be available with information about what they do and how to get involved. Groups from the local colleges will be available to talk with attendees about their work and its connection to the local community.
