Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Collection
As part of the residential solid waste and recycling contract, Waste Management, Inc. collects and disposes of residential household generated special materials safely, easily and responsibly. To participate you must set up a collection appointment.
There are three ways to schedule a collection:

Waste Management, Inc. call center operators will guide residents through steps for a safe and successful collection. They will provide a collection date and a collection kit will be sent to your residence for packing your materials. Companies recycling electronics in PA must have R2 or similar certification that assures the public that any information contained in recycled devices is protected until the time the device is destroyed, and that human health and the environment are protected at all steps during the recycling process, whether the recycling occurs in the US or abroad.
