The Greensburg-Hempfield Area Library is located at the corner of Third Street and South Pennsylvania Avenue across from the Post Office. In addition to the full-service library, a Children's Library incorporating state of the art design along with modern technology delivers a user-friendly environment for children.

Greensburg Garden and Civic Center (GGCC) - website
Founded in 1969, the GGCC was donated to the City by Katherine Mabis McKenna. Various social and cultural functions are held here. The City of Greensburg leases the building to the Westmoreland Trust. The GGCC is headquarters for the Greensburg Garden Club, Greensburg Civic Theater and the Greensburg College Club.  This multi-use facility hosts a wide variety of indoor and outdoor weddings, rehearsal dinners, receptions and showers.  Greensburg Garden and Civic Center also hosts meetings, seminars, parties, reunions, theatrical performances and concerts.  To set up an appointment to visit the Center or discuss your event, contact Jan Barsoum, Manager of Events and Facilities.
